television valued at about $300 was taken from the 1300 block of West Zedler Lane on Oct. 12 or 13. There was sign of forced entry to the garage.

Two burglaries and two attempted burglaries were reported in offices at 10134 N. Port Washington Road on Oct. 23 or 24. A small amount of cash was taken from the two offices where entry was gained. Police are investigating reports of other burglaries in the 10800 block of North Port Washington Road.

More than $500 was taken from an office and a cash register at Les Moise, 10130 N. Port Washington Road, on Oct. 23 or 24. There was sign of forced entry.


About $100 cash and a $200 digital music player were taken from an unlocked car in the 5200 block of West Sunnyside Drive sometime Oct. 16 to 18.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for being party to the crime of theft after a stolen handgun was found in the trunk of a car towed to the 6700 block of West Donges Bay Road at 11:40 a.m. Oct. 24. The man said the car belonged to a friend and he was picking it up and denied knowing anything about the gun. The case is under investigation.


An 18-year-old Cedarburg man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 14400 block of North Wauwatosa Road at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 24. The man, at first, denied he had drugs in the car but then admitted it when canine officer Vero arrived and hit aggressively inside the car where a pipe with residue and 4.1 grams of marijuana were found. The man also admitted a previous arrest for possession of marijuana in Ozaukee County.


A 56-year-old Mequon woman was arrested for drunken driving and driving left of center when an officer saw her weaving in traffic in the 4300 block of West Highland Road at 8 p.m. Oct. 19. Her blood alcohol content was 0.21.

A 24-year-old town of Cedarburg woman was arrested for drunken driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, nonregistration and unsafe lane deviation in the 11500 block of North Port Washington Road at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 22. The woman knew her registration was suspended because she had unpaid parking tickets. A glass pipe with residue and 2.5 grams of marijuana were found in the car. When asked if she'd been drinking she said, "I had like a beer a few hours ago." Her BAC was 0.13.

A 61-year-old Mequon man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, and driving after revocation - his license only allowed him to drive until midnight - in the 12400 block of North Golf Drive at 12:40 a.m. Oct. 25. His preliminary BAC was 0.13 and he was taken for a blood draw.


A 76-year-old Mequon man was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after he shook a woman and threatened to hit her 6:40 p.m. Oct. 21. The man, who admitted drinking in his garage, said he became angry when the woman shut the garage door while he was looking "at nature." His BAC was 0.17.

A drawing of two penguins "in a comprising position" were found on the side of a barn in the 9800 block of North Old Barn Road the morning of Oct. 22. The amount of damage was not listed.

An 18-year-old Mequon man was arrested Oct. 23 for making a bomb threat at Homestead High School, 5000 W. Mequon Road, the afternoon of Oct. 22. He had written threats on a bathroom stall in the 300 wing along with threats to at least two employees. Police are also investigating another bomb threat found at the school at 9 a.m. Oct. 23.



A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for operating under the influence, second offense, after he was observed driving his vehicle in the wrong lane in the 200 block of North Main Street at 11:14 p.m. Oct. 27. As the officer approached the vehicle, he observed a young child in a child seat who wasn't buckled into the seat. The driver was slurring his words and his eyes were bloodshot. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken to St. Mary's Ozaukee for a legal blood draw.
