Police Report: June 25

· A 48-year-old Mequon woman was arrested for theft of a purse valued at $500 from Ivana's Trunk, 6835 W. Mequon Road, at 1:15 p.m. June 14. The woman hid one purse inside another and paid for that purse along with other items. She was found at her residence and told police she thought she had paid for everything.


· Two 17-year-old Milwaukee boys were arrested, one for possession of marijuana and the other for possession of drug paraphernalia, for nonregistration, violation of license restrictions and no insurance in the 11300 block of North River Birch Drive at 2:18 a.m. June 20. The driver had been stopped earlier asking for directions to that home. At that time he was warned regarding the violation of his license and told to go home. Later police went to the residence and found the boy along with six smoked roaches and a trace amount of marijuana.

· A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of marijuana after canine officer Vero was called to the scene and "hit aggressively" on two cars at the Mequon Nature Preserve, 10000 N. Swan Road, at 10 p.m. June 20. A plastic bag with marijuana residue and a smoked roach were found.

· An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon and speeding 48 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 11000 block of North Cedarburg Road at 1:40 a.m. June 21. The man had two bags of marijuana weighing 6.1 grams, a scale, grinder, two pipes and two smoked roaches. He also had a knife.


· A 57-year-old Menasha man was arrested for driving while impaired and unsafe lane deviation after a 911 call reporting a driver veering into on-coming traffic near Mequon and Granville roads at 12:35 a.m. June 10. A 26-year-old Chicago woman, a passenger, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The man, who failed field sobriety and had a zero blood alcohol content, was taken for a blood draw.


· A 39-year-old Mequon man was arrested for simple battery and child abuse both domestic violence related after he struggled with a woman and when her daughter intervened, he punched her about 4 p.m. June 8.

· A 52-year-old Mequon man was arrested on a state charge of disorderly conduct after fighting with another man in the 13800 block of North Port Washington Road at 5:45 p.m. June 15. The man, who was intoxicated, became angry when he found ferrets in a cage in the victim's car saying they shouldn't be locked up. He removed the cage and then attacked the victim. No injuries were reported.
