Police Report: Dec. 24

A riding lawn tractor valued at $2,300 was taken from a garage in the 8800 block of West Mequon Road sometime Dec. 3 to Dec. 7. There was also forced entry to the home's breezeway but entry not gained. The house is vacant.


A 43-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was arrested for drunken driving, unsafe lane deviation and failure to notify an address change after she drove onto railroad tracks and left her car in the 5200 block of West County Line Road. She was located inside Spanky's Hideaway saying she turned onto the tracks thinking that was the parking lot. She got stuck and just left the car. She also denied drinking but then admitted having one glass of wine. Her preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.10 and she was taken for a blood draw. The railroad was notified of the car being on the tracks. There was no train scheduled and the car was safely removed.

A 40-year-old Mequon woman was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 60 mph in a 45 mph zone in the 10500 block of North Wauwatosa Road at 11:27 p.m. Dec. 15. The woman had a BAC of 0.18 and was taken for a blood draw. She also was in possession of dozens of pills of prescription medications without prescriptions including Vicodin and Xanax, which is under investigation.

An 18-year-old Saukville man was arrested for drunken driving, underage drinking, driving too fast for conditions and driving with a suspended license after he drove into a ditch in the 12300 block of North Granville Road at 11:40 p.m. Dec. 20. His BAC was 0.11. His wallet was left at the police station and he returned to get it the morning of Dec. 21. At that time, he was seen driving to the department and when police attempted to stop him he drove away. He was then cited again for driving after suspension and resisting.


Cords to Christmas lights were cut in the 12200 block of North Rolling Field Drive sometime Dec. 14 or 15. The amount of damage was not listed.
