Mequon-Thiensville Police Report: August 7, 2014

 Rolex watches and jewelry listed as worth “tens of thousands of dollars” were taken from the 200 block of East Trillium Court between 9:20 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25. The residents arrived home and found the trim on a door had been damaged and entry gained. The items taken and their value were not yet available.




 Two kayaks with a total value of $800 to $1,000 were taken from North Fieldwood Road and West Woodfield Drive some time July 6 to 27. The kayaks had been chained together and that chain was cut.


 Two Milwaukee boys, ages 15 and 16, were arrested for attempted auto theft and damage to property in the 1900 block of West Fiesta Lane at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29. The boys entered a car and, in their attempt to steal it, caused $300 damage. They ran from police but were found and arrested.


Drug possession


 A 65-year-old Fredonia man was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal damage to property and bail jumping after a 911 call reporting damage to a room at Port Zedler Motel, 10036 N. Port Washington Road, at 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, July 24. The man had at least one pipe with residue and marijuana, weight not available. 


Drunken driving


 A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, no valid driver’s license and failure to have insurance in the 9600 block of North Port Washington Lane at 3:26 a.m. on Sunday, July 27. Her license expired last September but she said she was unaware of that. When asked if she’d been drinking she said, “Not really” but later admitted having three tequila cocktails. Her BAC was 0.15.




 A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct at Subway, 6021 W. Mequon Road, at 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30. He came into the store with his own cup and filled it with soda. When an employee then told him he had to pay for it, he began swearing and then threw the cup on the floor, spilling the soda. He left and then rode off on his bike but was stopped. After being arrested, he paid $1.80 for the soda.
